Description:

The SUNX FX-7 Photoelectric Sensor Amplifier is a slim, auto-sensitivity fiber-optic sensor amplifier designed for use with SUNX FX-7 emitters, delivering a compact, easy-to-fit solution for tight installations. The standard FX-7 family operates from 12 to 24 V DC (10% ripple max) and draws 30 mA or less, with output options that include an NPN open-collector transistor (FX-7), or a PNP open-collector transistor (FX-7P). The switch output is rated for up to 100 mA and up to 30 V DC, with residual voltage of about 2.0 V max at 100 mA sink (1.0 V max at 100 mA source), and lower residuals at lighter loads. Users can select either Light-ON or Dark-ON operation by configuring the ON/OFF sequence, and some variants support external synchronization input or remote sensitivity adjustment for fine-tuning detection. The FX-7 family includes variants such as FX-7G (green LED), FX-7J/FX-7PJ (plug-in connectors), and FX-7GJ/FX-7GPJ for alternative wiring configurations, enabling flexible integration into S-LINK fiber-sensor blocks or simple wiring with CN cables. Common applications include detecting edges, seams on cans, gaps in sheets, or wafer-level features on production lines, where the amplifier amplifies the fiber-sensor signal and drives standard PLC inputs or control circuits.
