SUNX FX-D1 Fiber Optic Sensor
SUNX FX-D1 Fiber Optic Sensor
Description:
FX-D1 is a compact SUNX digital fiber optic sensor with a built‑in fiber head, a red‑LED emitter, and a 4‑digit LCD display for on‑board setup and status readouts. It provides two independent open‑collector outputs (FX‑D1 for NPN, FX‑D1P for PNP) capable of up to 100 mA per channel and up to 30 V DC across the load. The unit operates on 12–24 V DC with ripple of 10% or less and consumes about 45 mA or less. For configuration, it offers digital setting with features such as 2‑level teaching, limit teaching, full auto‑teaching, and interference prevention to stabilize sensing under varying fiber heads and targets. The emitter is a red LED, enabling reliable detection of small or recessed parts through a fiber bundle. This SUNX sensor is listed as discontinued by Panasonic, with FX‑D1P noted as the PNP variant in substitution guidance.
