SUNX GD-C2 Double Feed Detector Controller

The SUNX GD-C2 Double Feed Detector Controller is a metal-sheet double-feed detector amplifier designed to work with GD-series sensor heads (GD-10 and GD-20) to reliably detect misfeeds in metal-sheet handling lines. It provides two control outputs (OUT-1 and OUT-2) plus an alarm (ALM) and supports RS-232C communication for integration with PCs or PLCs, making it suitable for automated packaging, lamination, and print-through workflows where precise feed control is critical.

Power is supplied from 12 to 24 V DC, and the unit offers external setting inputs, a pushbutton teach interface, and external channel select inputs to switch detection channels. Eight-channel teach and threshold features let users tailor sensitivity, with seven LEDs indicating the sensing level and a two-sheet level indication for quick status checks. The GD-C2 also supports a nine-step threshold shift for precise calibration to varying metal-sheet conditions.
