Sunx GX-8ML-C1 Inductive Proximity Sensor Cylindrical

The Sunx GX-8ML-C1 is a compact cylindrical inductive proximity sensor (M8 thread) designed for non-contact metal sensing in tight automation spaces. It operates on 10–30 VDC and provides a three‑wire, NPN open‑collector output for sinking current in standard control circuits. With a 1.6 mm sensing distance, it detects metal targets at short range and is built in a rugged IP67 nickel‑plated brass housing with a 3 m cable length. The GX‑series unit is non‑shielded and features an indicator LED to show when the sensor is active, and it tolerates a temperature range from -25°C to 70°C with a typical response frequency up to 500 Hz, making it suitable for conveyor, end‑of‑travel, and compact robotic pickup applications.
