Swagelok SS-QC8-D-810 is a stainless steel instrument quick-connect stem with an integrated shutoff valve for 1/2 in. Swagelok tube fittings, part of the QC8 series. It is designed for instrumentation lines where fast, tool-free connections are required, and when uncoupled the stem vent directs pressure to the atmosphere to protect the downstream side. The valve-equipped version is made from 316 stainless steel, offers a flow coefficient (Cv) of approximately 1.5 when the valve is open, and has an overall length around 3.16 in (80.3 mm). A keyed variant, SS-QC8-D-810K1, adds a black key for alignment.
