SS-QC8-SPK2 is a stainless steel stem protector for Swagelok 1/2 in. QC8 Series instrumentation quick-connects. The protector features a 316 stainless steel body and is supplied under Swagelok’s Standard Cleaning and Packaging (SC-10) process. Part number SS-QC8-SPK2 is designed for the QC8 series, and for safe operation, system pressure must not exceed 250 psig (17.2 bar) at 70°F (20°C) when coupling or uncoupling; when uncoupling single-end shutoff quick-connects, stem-side pressure vents to atmosphere.
