System Sensor BEAM1224 Photoelectric Beam Smoke Detector

The System Sensor BEAM1224 is a four-wire, single-ended, reflected beam photoelectric smoke detector designed to provide precise smoke detection across large open spaces. Ideal for warehouses, atriums, distribution centers, gymnasiums, and other high-ceiling areas, it covers long distances from 16 to 328 ft (5 to 100 m) with an 8-inch reflector included. Configuration is four-wire conventional, with operating voltage from 10.2 to 32 VDC and six user-selectable sensitivity levels, plus an integrated optical sight and signal strength meter to simplify alignment and maintenance. With wall mounting and a wide operating temperature range of -22°F to 131°F (-30°C to 55°C), the BEAM1224 is suitable for large open-area fire detection and early warning; common replacements include System Sensor OSI-R-SS, BEAM1224S, and Fireray 3000.
