Techniks Precision Tooling 04240-1/2 ER40 Precision Collet delivers secure tool clamping with exceptional concentricity for CNC milling, drilling, and boring operations. Designed for ER40 collet chucks on CNC machining centers, milling machines, machining cells, and OEM metalworking equipment, it supports a 1/2 in (12.7 mm) nominal shank capacity and a clamping range of 0.461–0.500 in (11.71–12.70 mm). Made from high-carbon bearing steel with a precision-ground finish, it features an outside diameter of 1.61 in (40.9 mm), an overall length of 1-13/16 in (45.7 mm), a collapse range of 0.039 in (1 mm), and average TIR of 0.0002 in (0.005 mm).
