TECO Electric & Machinery CU-16 Magnetic Contactor

The TECO Electric & Machinery CU-16 Magnetic Contactor is a three-pole AC magnetic switch designed to switch and control three-phase motors and industrial power circuits in low-voltage control systems. It supports up to 16 A in AC-3 service and voltages up to 690 VAC (Ui 690 VAC) with a 6 kV impulse withstand rating, and provides three normally open main contacts (3NO) with optional auxiliary contact blocks and multiple coil voltage options (including 220 VAC configuration) for 50/60 Hz operation, mounting on DIN rails or panels. With a mechanical life of up to 10 million operations and an electrical life up to 1 million operations (application dependent), it is compatible with TECO RHU Series Thermal Overload Relays for motor protection. The CU-16 is widely used in motor starters, pump controls, compressors, conveyors, HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, machine tools, and other industrial automation panels, and it complies with IEC 60947-4-1, UL, CSA, CE, and RoHS (series dependent) standards, making it suitable for system integrators and maintenance teams seeking reliable electromagnetic switching.
