Tectran TV28550 Compact Relay Valve

The Tectran TV28550 is a Model MD Compact Relay Valve that rapidly delivers and exhausts compressed air to brake chambers in heavy-duty air brake systems. Constructed from tech-grade nylon, it features a 6 psi crack pressure, a 3/8 in NPT supply port, and two 3/8 in NPT horizontal delivery ports, with a single-control arrangement mounted near the brake chambers to improve response. Designed for commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and vocational vehicles, it is commonly used by maintenance teams and system integrators for repair, retrofit, expansion, or replacement of pneumatic brake control systems, and is interchangeable with KN28550; common replacements include Haldex KN28550, Midland KN28550, and Bendix R955KN28550X.
