Teknic SST-3000-829 Servo Drive

The Teknic SST-3000-829 Servo Drive is a DSP-based closed-loop controller in Teknic’s SST Servo System that delivers precise positioning, speed regulation, and torque control for brushless synchronous servo motors. It accepts a Step and Direction input and operates in closed-loop position, velocity, and torque modes from a 24–75 VDC unregulated supply. The drive uses a digital DSP-based servo controller architecture, is panel-mounted and cooled by natural convection, and weighs about 4.19 lb (1.9 kg). It is discontinued by the manufacturer. It is commonly installed in CNC machines, robotics, packaging equipment, material handling, and industrial automation where high-performance servo motion control is required. In practice, you’ll see it in CNC machining centers, pick-and-place systems, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automated inspection machines, packaging and labeling lines, industrial robotics, indexing tables, conveyor automation, and textile machinery.
