Telemecanique XCS A703 Safety Interlock Switch

The Telemecanique XCSA703 safety switch from the Telemecanique XCS XCSA family is a metal-bodied guard-door interlock with a key-operated turret head and positive-opening safety contacts. It is used to monitor machine guards, access doors, and protective enclosures to prevent hazardous machine operation when a guard is opened. Maintenance teams, OEMs, and system integrators use the XCSA703 for replacement, retrofit, repair, and expansion of industrial safety systems. The switch offers 2 normally closed (NC) and 1 normally open (NO) contacts with slow-break, break-before-make operation, and is rated for 240 V AC-15 at 3 A (and 6 A at 120 V AC-15). It features screw clamp terminals for 0.5 to 2 mm² conductors and a 1/2 in NPT cable entry, with a Zamak body and head for robust service. IP67 protection and an operating temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C support demanding industrial environments, and the unit carries CSA and UL certifications.
