The Timken Company 415437 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken National 415437 radial shaft oil seal uses a Type 41 multi-lip nitrile design to securely retain lubricant while preventing dust, dirt, and moisture from entering bearing assemblies in heavy industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, compressors, and other rotating equipment. It features a 3.500 in (88.900 mm) shaft diameter, 4.756 in (120.802 mm) outside diameter, 4.751 in (120.675 mm) housing bore, and 0.500 in (12.700 mm) overall width in a steel case with inner case and a nitrile (NBR) lip with spring, plus Redi-Coat coating for durability. With a maximum shaft surface speed of 3000 ft/min, misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and an operating temperature range of -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C), it’s suited for heavy-duty sealing in gearboxes, pumps, mining equipment, and other rotating machinery; common replacements include SKF 415437, CR 415437, and National 415437.
