The Timken Company 416137 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken Company 416137 radial shaft oil seal is a Type 41 multi-lip nitrile seal designed to retain lubricant and prevent contaminants from entering bearing assemblies in industrial rotating equipment. Its steel case with inner case houses a multi-lip with spring nitrile (NBR) lip construction, supporting a shaft diameter of 4.250 in (107.950 mm), an outside diameter of 6.005 in (152.527 mm), a housing bore of 5.999 in (152.375 mm), and an overall width of 0.500 in (12.700 mm). Redi-Coat is included for easier installation and durability. The seal supports up to 3000 ft/min shaft surface speed and tolerates misalignment of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, with an operating temperature range of -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C). It is commonly used in industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, compressors, mining equipment, and other heavy-duty rotating machinery requiring reliable lubricant retention and protection against dust, dirt, and moisture.
