The Timken Company 417079 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

Timken 417079 radial shaft oil seal is a rugged, spring-loaded Type 41 multi-lip seal designed to retain lubricants and exclude contaminants in rotating equipment such as industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, and compressors. It uses a nitrile (NBR) sealing element housed in a steel case with inner case, and its 2.625 in (66.675 mm) shaft diameter, 3.548 in (90.119 mm) outside diameter, 3.543 in (89.992 mm) housing bore, and 0.375 in (9.525 mm) overall width define its fit. The Redi-Coat ready seal supports up to 3000 ft/min shaft surface speed and provides a misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm or 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, operating over -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C).
