The Timken Company 417343 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken 417343 radial shaft oil seal is a spring-loaded, multi-lip seal designed to retain lubricants and exclude dirt, dust, and moisture from rotating equipment. Built with a nitrile (NBR) sealing element and Type 41 construction, it uses a steel case with inner case and is sized for a 2.625 in shaft (66.675 mm) with an outside diameter of 3.756 in (95.402 mm) and a housing bore of 3.751 in (95.275 mm), and it has an overall width of 0.375 in (9.525 mm). Intended for general-purpose industrial shaft sealing, it suits industrial gearboxes, pumps, reducers, conveyors, compressors, and electric motors operating under normal conditions, providing a maximum shaft surface speed of 3000 ft/min, misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and a 7 psi pressure rating between -40°F and 225°F (-40°C to 107°C). The seal is Redi-Coat-ready, and common replacements include SKF 26298, CR 417343, and National 417343.
