The Timken 417358 radial shaft oil seal is a spring-loaded, multi-lip Type 41 seal designed to retain lubricant and prevent contaminants from entering rotating equipment such as industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, and compressors. It uses a nitrile (NBR) sealing element inside a steel case with inner case, and its dimensions include a 5.250 in shaft diameter (133.350 mm), 6.381 in outer diameter (162.077 mm), 6.375 in housing bore (161.925 mm), and 0.500 in overall width (12.700 mm); Redi-Coat is available, and it belongs to Series 410000 with a multi-lip, spring-loaded lip configuration.
