The Timken Company 417363 Radial Shaft Oil Seals

The Timken National 417363 radial shaft oil seal is a Type 41, multi-lip, spring-loaded seal designed to retain lubricants and exclude contaminants from rotating equipment. This steel-cased unit uses a nitrile (NBR) sealing element and fits a 5.750 in shaft diameter (146.050 mm) with an outside diameter of 6.882 in (174.803 mm), a housing bore of 6.875 in (174.625 mm), and an overall width of 0.562 in (14.275 mm). It is rated for up to 3000 ft/min shaft surface speed and 7 psi, operates from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C), and tolerates misalignment of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm. Redi-Coat ready and commonly used in industrial gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, electric motors, and compressors for general-purpose shaft sealing.
