The Timken Company 417365 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken 417365 radial shaft oil seal is a spring-loaded Type 41, multi-lip seal with a nitrile (NBR) sealing element designed to retain lubricant and prevent contaminants from entering rotating equipment. It features a steel case with inner case and Redi-Coat, and its dimensions are 6.000 in shaft diameter, 7.132 in outside diameter, 7.125 in housing bore, and an overall width of 0.562 in. The seal supports a maximum shaft surface speed of 3000 ft/min, tolerates misalignment of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and carries a 7 psi pressure rating with an operating temperature range of -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C). Common applications include industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, and compressors in general-purpose industrial machinery, and it is commonly replaced by SKF 417365, CR 417365, and National 417365.
