Timken 417554 radial shaft oil seal is a steel-cased, multi-lip Type 41 seal designed to retain lubricants and exclude dirt, dust, and moisture in rotating equipment such as industrial gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, reducers, and electric motors. Featuring a spring-loaded nitrile (NBR) sealing element and a 410000-series construction, it provides reliable sealing with a 5.375 in (136.525 mm) shaft diameter, 6.757 in (171.628 mm) outside diameter, 6.749 in (171.425 mm) housing bore, and 0.500 in (12.700 mm) overall width; Redi-Coat ready and encased in a steel inner/outer case. It supports up to 3000 ft/min shaft speed, tolerates misalignment of 0.015 in at 800 rpm or 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and operates at temperatures from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C) with a 7 psi pressure rating.
