Description:

The Timken National Oil Seal 455330 is a nitrile (NBR) single-lip oil seal with a spring designed to retain lubricants while blocking dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from entering rotating shaft systems. Part of Timken’s National 450000 series, it employs a solid-with-inner-case construction and Type 45 design, with lip material also in NBR. The seal measures 6.125 in (155.575 mm) shaft ID, 7.133 in (181.178 mm) outside diameter, and 7.125 in (180.975 mm) housing bore, with a width of 0.625 in (15.875 mm); it is Redi-Coat ready. Maximum shaft surface speed is 3000 ft/min, with misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm. It operates from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C) and weighs 1.07 lb (0.49 kg). Commonly used in general-purpose rotating equipment—industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, mining equipment, and construction machinery—and as a replacement for SKF 61210, CR (Chicago Rawhide) 61210, and National 450000 series oil seals, this seal protects bearings and lubricated components while reducing lubricant leakage and contaminant ingress.
