The Timken 475009N rotating shaft seal is a double-lip oil seal with a spring, using a polyacrylate (ACM) sealing lip to resist heat, oxidation, and lubricants while preventing dirt and moisture from entering rotating shaft systems. It has a solid construction without an inner case, Redi-Coat protection, and a shaft ID of 2.750 in (69.850 mm), OD 3.881 in (98.577 mm), housing bore 3.876 in (98.450 mm), and overall width 0.469 in (11.913 mm), rated for up to 3000 ft/min and a continuous operating temperature of -20°F to 300°F (-29°C to 149°C).
