The Timken National 9773 radial shaft oil seal is designed to retain lubrication while keeping dirt, dust, moisture, and other contaminants out of rotating equipment. It features a spring-loaded multi-lip (double lip) design and a polyacrylate (ACM) sealing element for reliable performance in higher-temperature service. This solid construction (without inner case) has a shaft diameter of 2.625 in (66.68 mm), an outside diameter of 4.568 in (116.03 mm), a housing bore of 4.564 in (115.93 mm), and an overall width of 0.719 in (18.26 mm). It supports a maximum shaft surface speed of 3,000 ft/min and offers misalignment tolerances of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4,200 rpm, with a continuous operating temperature range of -20°F to 300°F (-29°C to 149°C).
