The Timken Company 99181 Redi Sleeve Shaft Repair Sleeve

The Timken National Redi-Sleeve 99181 is a precision-thin-wall stainless steel shaft repair sleeve that restores worn, grooved, or damaged sealing surfaces without shaft replacement or machining. Installed directly over the existing shaft, it provides a wear- and corrosion-resistant sealing surface for standard radial shaft oil seals on a nominal shaft diameter of 1.811 in (46.00 mm) and accommodates shafts in the 1.809–1.815 in range. Constructed as a precision thin-wall stainless steel sleeve with an installation flange, its dimensions include a flanged outside diameter of 2.156 in, width on shaft 0.563 in, overall width 0.688 in, and installation depth 1.000 in, with an approximate weight of 0.17 lb. It is used in pumps, gearboxes, compressors, electric motors, conveyors, agricultural equipment, wheel hubs, and other rotating machinery to extend seal life when lubricant leakage or premature seal failure occurs.
