The Timken Company 99450 Shaft Repair Sleeve Redi Sleeve

The Timken National Redi-Sleeve 99450 is a precision-thin-wall stainless steel shaft repair sleeve that restores worn or damaged sealing surfaces without the need for shaft replacement or machining. Installed directly over the existing shaft, it provides a smooth, wear- and corrosion-resistant sealing surface for standard radial shaft oil seals, extending seal life and reducing maintenance downtime in heavy-duty equipment. Designed for shafts 4.496–4.504 in (114.198–114.402 mm) in diameter (nominal 4.500 in), it features a 5.000 in flanged outside diameter, a seal-running width of 0.813 in (20.65 mm), an overall width of 1.000 in (25.40 mm), and an installation depth of 1.375 in (34.925 mm); the sleeve is a precision-ground, lead-free stainless steel construct with a surface finish of 10–20 µin Ra. Used across pumps, gearboxes, compressors, electric motors, conveyors, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, wheel hubs, and other rotating industrial machinery, it is compatible with standard oil seals for roughly 4.500 in shaft diameters and is part of the Redi-Sleeve 99000 series.
