The Timken Fafnir ER24 mounted insert ball bearing is a wide inner ring insert bearing designed for mounted housing units with dual set screw locking to secure shafts. It features a cylindrical bore of 1-1/2 in (38.10 mm) and an outside diameter of 3.149 in (80.00 mm), with inner ring width 1.938 in (49.23 mm) and outer ring width 1.094 in (27.72 mm). Made from bearing steel with a black oxide finish and a nylon cage, it uses narrow shroud contact seals to retain lubricant while guarding against contaminants, and is relubricatable for easy maintenance. Rated for dynamic radial loads up to 8,130 lbf (36,097 N) and static radial loads up to 4,460 lbf (19,802 N), the ER24 is designed for moderate to heavy radial loading in conveyors, agricultural machinery, packaging equipment, material handling systems, fans, blowers, and general industrial equipment, operating up to 250°F (121°C).
