The Thomas & Betts 15526 Color-Keyed® Hex Crimping Die is used to produce precision hexagonal compression crimps on copper and aluminum compression connectors using compatible 15-ton hydraulic compression tools. Commonly used by utility contractors, industrial electricians, panel builders, and maintenance technicians, this hardened steel die features Die Code 45 with a black/gold color code and is designed for terminating 2/0 AWG copper conductors and #1 AWG aluminum conductors. It is used for new installations, maintenance, and repair of electrical power distribution systems.
