Timken 455019 Oil Seal

The Timken National Oil Seal 455019 is a single-lip oil seal with a spring that retains lubricant and blocks dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from entering rotating shaft assemblies. Designed for inch-based sizes, it measures 3.000 in (76.20 mm) shaft diameter, 5.004 in (127.10 mm) outside diameter, 4.999 in (126.98 mm) housing bore, and 0.468 in (11.89 mm) overall width, with nitrile (NBR) material, solid inner-case construction, and Redi-Coat. It supports up to 3000 ft/min shaft surface speed and tolerates up to 0.015 in misalignment at 800 rpm or 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and operates from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C). Commonly used in industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, construction equipment, mining machinery, and heavy-duty vehicle drivetrains, it is a dependable replacement for OEM rebuilds, retrofits, and preventive maintenance, with SKF and Chicago Rawhide equivalents also available in the National 450000 series.
