Timken 455189 Oil Seal Single Lip Radial Shaft

Timken National Oil Seal 455189 is a single-lip, spring-loaded seal designed to retain lubricants and prevent dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from entering rotating shaft systems. It is an inch-based seal with a 3.812 in shaft (ID) and a 5.266 in outer diameter (OD), 0.468 in overall width, built with a nitrile (NBR) lip in a solid inner-case construction (Series 450000, Design Type 45). It is rated for continuous operation from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C) and speeds up to 3000 ft/min, and is commonly used in industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, and conveyors for general purpose rotating equipment. Common replacements include SKF 38190 and CR (Chicago Rawhide) equivalents.
