The Timken National Oil Seal 470530 is a multi-lip, loaded-spring oil seal designed to retain lubricants and prevent dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from entering rotating shaft systems. It uses an Inch-based size with a 2.000 in shaft ID, 3.001 in outside diameter, 2.996 in housing bore, and 0.375 in width, housed in a steel case without an inner case, with Redi-Coat and NBR lip construction for reliable sealing in demanding environments. Part of Timken's 470000 series (MPN 470530, Series 470000, Design Type 47), this seal supports up to 7 psi and a continuous operating temperature range of -40°F to 225°F, with a max shaft surface speed of 3000 ft/min and misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm or 0.010 in at 4200 rpm.
