Timken ER23 Bearing

The Timken Fafnir ER23 insert ball bearing is a wide inner ring mounted bearing with a cylindrical outside diameter and dual set screw locking, designed to provide dependable shaft support in housings under moderate to heavy radial loads and in continuous operation. This relubricatable bearing is manufactured from bearing steel with a black oxide finish and uses narrow shroud contact seals to retain lubricant while guarding against contaminants. The bore is 1-7/16 in (36.51 mm) and the outside diameter is 2.834 in (72.00 mm); inner ring width is 1.781 in (45.42 mm) and outer ring width is 0.938 in (23.75 mm). It features a dual set screw locking mechanism (two set screws) sized M8 × 1.25 for positive shaft retention, and the cage is nylon. Dynamic radial load rating is 6,400 lbf (28,416 N) and static radial load rating is 3,440 lbf (15,274 N); maximum speed is 3,270 rpm. Weight is approximately 1.05 lb (0.48 kg).
