Description:
The Timken K9009X flinger is a rotating non-contact bearing protection accessory made of hardened steel that deflects contaminants—such as dust, moisture, and process fluids—away from the bearing and housing to help extend service life. Designed to mount adjacent to the bearing assembly, it deflects contaminants and assists lubricant retention while working with bearing housings and rotating shaft assemblies as part of the housing assembly. Commonly installed in industrial gear reducers, heavy-duty conveyors, mining and aggregate equipment, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and power transmission systems, it is used during equipment repair, replacement, machine rebuilds, and retrofits to improve sealing performance.
