Timken TAN15 Bearing Locknut

The Timken TAN15 bearing locknut provides precise, secure retention for spherical roller bearings on 75 mm shafts in heavy-duty power transmission systems. As part of Timken's TAN Series, the steel locknut works with the TW115 lock washer to position bearings, adapter sleeves, and withdrawal sleeves, delivering positive mechanical locking with a right-hand 2.933-12 NS Class 3 thread. It features an outside diameter of 3.880 in (98.55 mm), a face diameter of 3.563 in (90.50 mm), a width of 0.604 in (15.34 mm), and 12 threads per inch, with locking type designated as standard (not self-locking). Commonly applied in conveyors, gearboxes, mining equipment, pulp and paper mills, and steel mills, the TAN15 is used for bearing mounting and for securing adapter or withdrawal sleeves; it’s suitable for replacement, repair, retrofit, and overhaul of spherical roller bearing assemblies. Common replacements include TAN15-2, SKF AN15 locknut, and NTN AN15 locknut.
