Description:

The TJERNLUND HSUL-1 High Temperature Power Venter is used in sidewall venting systems to safely exhaust flue gases from gas-fired heating appliances while providing burner interlock protection. Commonly installed on residential and light commercial furnaces, boilers, unit heaters, and water heaters requiring a 4-inch vent connection and 24 VAC burner control. Maintenance teams, HVAC contractors, and OEMs use this power venter for replacement, retrofit, or new sidewall venting installations where reliable mechanical draft is required.

Applications:

The TJERNLUND HSUL-1 High Temperature Power Venter is designed for sidewall venting of natural gas heating equipment where a conventional chimney is unavailable or impractical. The unit includes a factory-installed 24/115 VAC switching relay and fan proving switch to verify airflow before burner operation, improving safety and venting reliability in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The HSUL-1 has been discontinued and is commonly replaced by the HS1 series.
