TLV 16K-50A Pilot Operated Pressure Reducing Valve

The TLV 16K-50A is a pilot-operated steam pressure reducing valve that automatically maintains downstream pressure in industrial steam systems. This 2 in (DN50) flange-connected valve from TLV’s COSR-16 series supports a primary pressure range of 0.2–1.6 MPaG (2–16 barg) with an adjustable secondary range of 0.03–1.34 MPaG (0.3–13.4 barg), a PMO of 1.6 MPaG (16 barg) and a TMO of 220°C (428°F), and it accepts saturated or superheated steam. Containing stainless steel internal components, an integral pilot strainer, and an internal secondary pressure sensing channel, the 16K-50A delivers fast response to load changes with a pressure control accuracy of ±0.01 MPa and includes a silencer on larger sizes for noise reduction; typical applications include boilers, heat exchangers, autoclaves/sterilizers, textile machinery, food and beverage plants, pharmaceutical facilities, and chemical processing systems where stable downstream pressure is essential.
