Toshiba TDN211AS DeviceNet Communication Module

The Toshiba TDN211AS DeviceNet Communication Module is a DeviceNet master for Toshiba PROSEC T2, T2E, and T2N PLCs, enabling direct communication with distributed I/O, drives, sensors, valve manifolds, and other ODVA-certified field devices. It supports DeviceNet speeds of 125 kbps, 250 kbps, and 500 kbps, with maximum network lengths of 500 m at 125 kbps, 250 m at 250 kbps, and 100 m at 500 kbps, and up to 64 nodes per network (1 master, 63 slaves). The module provides 128 input words and 128 output words (2048 I/O points per direction) and supports Polling and Bit Strobe, using a 5-pin DeviceNet connector (Phoenix Contact type) in a Bus topology, mounted as a PLC rack module. Compatible devices include Remote I/O, sensors, inverters, valve manifolds, and other ODVA-certified DeviceNet equipment. Common replacements include Toshiba DN211, DN211A, and DN311A. Applications span manufacturing plants, food and beverage processing facilities, automotive production lines, water and wastewater treatment systems, chemical plants, and general industrial automation where reliable DeviceNet communication is required between Toshiba PROSEC PLCs and remote I/O stations, drives, sensors, actuators, and other ODVA-certified devices.
