Toshiba TFR112MS Remote Station Module FR112 Series

The Toshiba TFR112MS Remote Station Module (FR112) delivers deterministic, high-speed remote I/O communication for Toshiba PROSEC T1 and T1-16S PLC systems over the TOSLINE-F10 network, bridging master controllers and distributed I/O in factory automation, process control panels, packaging lines, material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and OEM production environments. Operating in a Bus (Party Line) topology over shielded twisted-pair cable, it supports jumper-selectable transmission speeds of 250 kbps or 750 kbps, with maximum distances of 1 km at 250 kbps or 500 m at 750 kbps. It offers 32 words (512 points) of scan transmission capacity and a scan cycle of 12 ms (250 kbps) or 7 ms (750 kbps), with CRC error checking and SW34 transmit / SW35 receive register assignments. The module uses a 3-pin removable terminal block for external connections and draws up to 100 mA at 5 VDC. Compatible Toshiba controllers include T1-16S, T2, T2E, T2N, T3, and T3H, and it mounts as a Right-End PLC Expansion Module. Common replacements include FR112M, FR112, and TFR112M.
