The TRI-TRONICS ILS-H-0 Photocell is a compact, non-contact photoelectric sensor with a 3/8-inch cylindrical housing and 3-wire wiring. It detects presence or absence of objects at up to 6 ft (1.83 m) and, with its cylindrical threaded body, is commonly used in packaging equipment, bottling lines, food processing systems, electronics assembly, and material handling applications for non-contact part detection, conveyor monitoring, counting, and positioning tasks. The device is discontinued by the manufacturer, with common replacements including ILS-H-1, ILS-H-2, and CLS-H-5.
