Tri-Tronics MARK II SMARTEYE 24V Photoelectric Sensor

The Tri-Tronics MARK II SMARTEYE SEIW 24V photoelectric sensor delivers rapid non-contact object detection for demanding industrial automation, with a 3 ft (0.91 m) sensing range and an infrared light source at 880 nm. It operates on 12–24 VDC and provides one NPN and one PNP transistor output, each rated to 150 mA, compatible with both sourcing and sinking circuits for reliable integration. Adjustment is via a potentiometer with Enhanced Dynamic Range (EDR), and the sensor offers a 50 µs (light state) and 140 µs (dark state) response, complemented by a 10-LED Contrast Indicator, Output LED, and EDR LED for diagnostics. The device is protected against reverse polarity and momentary short circuits, and its enclosure meets NEMA 4X, NEMA 6P, and IP67 ratings for harsh industrial environments, with a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C.
