Tri-Tronics MDRCV4 Photoelectric Sensor With Connector

Tri-Tronics MDRCV4 Photoelectric Sensor with Connector is a MITY-EYE series, non-contact Sensor that uses a V4 convergent 1-inch axis optical block (C66) and a 660 nm red LED to detect the presence or absence of objects with high precision at short range. It operates on 10–30 VDC and provides both NPN and PNP open-collector outputs up to 150 mA, with a 500 µs response time and a 35 mA typical current draw. The unit terminates via a 5-pin M12 connector (4-wire) and includes reverse polarity, short-circuit, and Zener protection up to 36 VDC; its enclosure is rated NEMA 4X, NEMA 6P, IP67, and it withstands -20°C to +70°C in industrial environments. Common applications include packaging equipment, bottling lines, food processing, pharmaceutical machinery, electronics assembly, and material handling.
