The TRIAC 2R2500DAR pneumatic actuator delivers high-torque, reverse-acting actuation for automated quarter-turn valves, featuring a 2500-size Scotch yoke design and torque up to 44,440 in-lb at 100 PSI on the standard double-acting model, with reverse-acting torque available from the manufacturer. This DAR configuration is double-acting, with ISO 5211 valve mounting pads and NAMUR-compatible accessory interface, and dual travel stops that allow ±5° of travel adjustment. Constructed with a hard-anodized aluminum housing and stainless steel external fasteners, it operates on a typical air supply of 40–100 PSI. Commonly used for automated quarter-turn ball and butterfly valves in chemical processing, water and wastewater treatment, oil and gas, power generation, and manufacturing facilities, it is also suitable for valve automation upgrades, actuator replacement, preventive maintenance, and process control retrofits within industrial process automation and fluid handling systems.
