Triconex 3721 Differential Analog Input Module

The TRICONEX 3721 Differential Analog Input Module is used in safety instrumented systems for acquiring and processing analog voltage signals from industrial field devices. It provides 32 differential DC-coupled inputs and supports programmable voltage ranges of 0–5 VDC or ±5 VDC, with 12-bit or 14-bit programmable resolution and an update rate of approximately 10 ms. The module employs a differential input design for improved noise rejection, offering a common-mode rejection of -85 dB (DC–100 Hz) and an accuracy of less than 0.15% of full scale across 0°C to 60°C. Designed for Tri-conex Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) safety systems, it installs in Tri-conex control chassis/rack mounting and is used for SIS repairs, system upgrades, and replacement of failed I/O modules in safety-critical processes; common replacements include the TRICONEX 3700A TMR Analog Input Module and a compatible Tri-conex 32-Channel Analog Input Module.
