Turck BI1, 5-G08-AN6X 7M Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI1.5-G08-AN6X-7M is a compact inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metal objects in industrial automation. Housed in a stainless-steel cylindrical M8 x 1 body with an integral 7 m cable and flush-mount/embeddable mounting, it detects metal targets at a 1.5 mm sensing distance and provides a normally open (NPN) output powered from 10–30 VDC. It handles up to 150 mA and is IP67 rated, with reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection for harsh environments. Commonly used for end-of-travel detection, part presence verification, machine sequencing, and positioning on conveyors, packaging lines, and other equipment where space is tight and reliable short-range metal sensing is required.
