Description:
The Turck BI1.5-G08-AN6X Inductive Proximity Sensor is a compact, flush-mount device with a 1.5 mm sensing distance for non-contact metal detection in industrial automation. It uses a 3-wire DC, NPN normally open output, powered from 10–30 VDC with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection, switching up to 3 kHz and drawing a maximum 150 mA. Its stainless steel (AISI 316L) housing with an M8 x 1 threaded barrel, integral cable connection, and IP67 rating withstands harsh environments from -25°C to +70°C. Common applications include conveyors, packaging machinery, and assembly stations for part presence, end-of-travel monitoring, and position sensing; common replacements are Turck BI1.5-G08M-RD6X and BI1.5-G08-AP6X-H1341.
