Turck BI15U-CK40-AN6X2-H1141 Inductive Proximity Sensor provides non-contact detection of metal targets and machine-position sensing using uprox® Factor 1 technology, offering uniform sensing across ferrous and non-ferrous metals at a 15 mm sensing distance. Housed in the CK40 rectangular package, the sensor measures 65 × 40 × 40 mm and uses a PBT-GF30-V0 reinforced plastic housing with an adjustable active-face orientation in five positions for flush-mount (embeddable) installation. It features a 3‑wire DC output with NPN Normally Open configuration, powered by 10–30 VDC and capable of 200 mA load, with a switching frequency of 250 Hz. The M12 x 1 Male Connector (H1141) provides quick-disconnect wiring, and the unit carries IP68 protection for use in demanding industrial environments. Safety and reliability are supported by reverse polarity protection and cyclic short-circuit protection, plus magnetic-field resistance up to 300 mT (DC/AC). Operating temperature is -30°C to +85°C. Status indicators include a Green Power LED and a Yellow Switching LED. Typical applications include part presence detection, end-of-travel monitoring, machine positioning, and product verification on PLC-controlled conveyors, packaging lines, transfer systems, and other automated machinery, particularly where equal performance across metals is needed in electrically noisy environments.
