Turck BI2-Q5.5-AP6X-0.2-PSG3 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI2-Q5.5-AP6X-0.2-PSG3 is a compact inductive proximity sensor designed for contactless detection of metallic targets in industrial automation, delivering reliable position sensing in space-constrained installations. It provides a 2 mm sensing distance, a 3‑wire PNP normally open output, and operates on 10–30 V DC with up to 150 mA switching current and a 2 kHz switching frequency. Housed in a rectangular Q5.5 PP-GF20 plastic enclosure (28 x 8 x 5.5 mm) with a 3-pin M8 pigtail connector and 0.2 m cable, the sensor carries an IP67 rating and is flush-mountable for surface mounting on machinery or fixtures. A yellow LED status indicator shows the switching state, and its operating temperature range is -25°C to +70°C, making it suitable for packaging machines, conveyors, assembly equipment, and robotic work cells where non-contact metal object detection feeds PLC-controlled processes.
