Turck BI2-Q5.5-AP6X Inductive Proximity Sensor

Turck BI2-Q5.5-AP6X inductive proximity sensor delivers compact, non-contact metal detection and position sensing in industrial automation. It uses a 2 mm sensing distance with a 3-Wire PNP normally open output and operates on 10–30 VDC, up to 150 mA, switching at up to 2 kHz. The rectangular Q5.5 housing is made of PP-GF20 plastic, measuring 28 x 8 x 5.5 mm, and it carries IP67 protection for harsh environments; flush-mount installation suits tight spaces and surface mounting on machinery or fixtures. Commonly applied in packaging machines, conveyors, assembly equipment, robotic work cells, and automated production lines where reliable metallic object detection and position feedback are required.
