Turck BI3U-M12-AP6X Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI3U-M12-AP6X is a compact inductive proximity sensor from the Uprox+ family that provides contactless metal detection with a 3 mm sensing distance and a 3‑wire PNP normally open output, ideal for packaging equipment, conveyors, and assembly machines where PLC-controlled position feedback is required. It uses Factor 1 sensing for all metals, offering equal sensing distances across targets while resisting magnetic fields in harsh industrial environments. The sensor mounts via a threaded M12 x 1 barrel and uses a chrome-plated brass housing with 52 mm length, IP68 protection, and a M12 x 1 male connector. It operates on 10-30 VDC, switches up to 200 mA at up to 3 kHz, and includes reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection, and a yellow LED status indicator.
