Turck BI40-CP80-FDZ30X2 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI40-CP80-FDZ30X2 inductive proximity sensor delivers long-range, non-contact detection of metallic targets with a 40 mm sensing distance for conveyor systems, steel processing, and automated production lines. It operates on AC or DC power (20-250 VAC / 10-300 VDC) with a 2-Wire Normally Open output rated up to 400 mA AC / 300 mA DC at up to 20 Hz. Housed in the CP80 rectangular enclosure, the sensor uses a glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic body, measures roughly 120 × 80 × 80 mm, and carries IP67 protection with a flush-mount design and surface-mount installation for harsh industrial environments. It tolerates -25°C to +70°C and is designed for long-range position sensing and object detection on conveyors, packaging machines, pallet handling, automotive lines, and other material handling equipment.
