Turck BI5-EM18-AP6X-H1141 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI5-EM18-AP6X-H1141 is a stainless steel, embeddable M18 inductive proximity sensor with a 5 mm sensing distance for non-contact detection of metallic targets in harsh industrial environments. It provides a 3-wire PNP normally open output, operates on 10–30 VDC, and supports a maximum switching current of 200 mA at up to a 1 kHz switching frequency. The device uses an M18 x 1 threaded barrel and an M12 x 1 male connector for straightforward OEM mounting, with flush-mount capability and an IP68-rated enclosure suitable for packaging machines, conveyors, assembly equipment, and machine tools. Special features include Factor 1 sensing for all metals, magnetic field resistance, a recessed mountable design, plus reverse polarity and short-circuit protection, with a yellow LED status indicator to show switching activity.
